Databricks Architect (AWS)
We are looking for a data engineer with proven experience in designing cloud data & analytics platform architectures specialising in Databrick (AWS). You should be creative and have a solid analytical background in the fields of platform architecture and data engineering to lead development projects. Roles and responsibilities
These will be your main roles:
- Responsible for the design, construction and management of data platforms. One thing that sets us apart at Galeo is that we design, deploy and manage our projects, as well as giving them the strategic business sense they need.
- Build trust with customers to strategically guide them through the implementation of bespoke Big Data, IoT and Cloud platform projects.
Professional skills
We don’t expect you to know everything, we value what isn’t written here, and what matters to us is your ability to absorb new knowledge:
- Demonstrable experience in:
- AWS ecosystems
- Databrick architectures
- Data modelling
- More than 4 years’ experience programming in Python
- Experience in Spark/Pyspark.
- Soft skills: good communication skills.
