Digital Platform for Car Wash Tunnels
The digitalization of vehicle wash systems at service stations presents significant challenges due to equipment heterogeneity, lack of interoperability between manufacturers, and reliance on proprietary solutions. In this context, our client — one of the leading energy companies with an extensive network of service stations — required a solution to centralize the management and operation of their car wash systems, overcoming the limitations of existing technologies. Leveraging our expertise in the digitalization of industrial infrastructures, we developed a cloud- and IoT-based platform that enables unified and efficient management of car wash equipment.
As an additional requirement, the solution needed to integrate with existing payment systems while enabling new modalities such as subscriptions or mobile payments, maintaining compatibility with traditional interfaces. The developed platform combines a cloud-based asset management solution with IoT Edge devices deployed at each station, allowing remote equipment control and real-time data collection.
