GALEO was founded in 2018 to help companies in the era of digitalization by designing, building, and operating innovative data platforms that leverage, integrate, and exploit their dynamic value.

Our name comes from “galley slaves.” In ancient times, those who propelled ships in unison were not slaves, but free people whose skills were essential to the success of the voyages. Mother ships sailed forward thanks to an orchestrated platform of oars powered by their strength and coordination.

GALEO is a company born from the experience of the founding team, Marco Laucelli and Alejandro Alija, in software development, the digitisation of industrial processes and the exploitation of corporate cloud architectures. Our services revolve around the construction of technological platforms that allow us to scale the value provided by digital products – particularly data and advanced analytics – to become productive assets that transform processes, services and business operations of corporations… We build our data platform solutions with a common vision, based on three elements: governance, process and operations model. This approach pursues the creation of an agile fabric where digital products are conceived, developed and scaled.
