Asturias, From Chip To Cloud
Aid reference: AYUD/2025/10461
Funding body: Regional Ministry of Science, Industry and Employment (programme: grants for the development of actions to promote R&D&I in the Principality of Asturias during 2025)
Brief description: The overall objective of this action is to promote the adoption of advanced digital technologies (IoT, cloud, artificial intelligence, digital twins, etc.) in the economic, educational and institutional fabric of the Principality of Asturias, encouraging collaboration between actors and fostering a culture of sustainable, inclusive innovation aligned with regional and European strategic challenges.
To achieve these objectives, the ‘Asturias, from Chip to Cloud’ dissemination programme has been designed, which proposes the holding of four strategically designed conferences to mobilise and connect the main agents of the Asturian innovation ecosystem. These sessions are not mere events, but structured interventions that combine knowledge transfer, technological inspiration, practical training and community building. Each conference acts as a catalyst to foster dialogue between science, business, education and administration, aligning with European priorities in digital transformation and smart specialisation (S3).
These four themed conferences, focusing on key regional sectors, have been designed in a hybrid format, combining expert presentations, practical workshops, networking and dissemination of content accessible via an online platform.
Main expected results, including KPIs: The following quantitative results are expected to be achieved:
- Holding of four hybrid conferences (in-person + online) with an estimated participation of at least 60–80 in-person attendees and an equivalent number of online attendees per conference.
- More than 500 total attendees (in-person and online) among the different target profiles: large companies, SMEs/start-ups, students and the defence sector.
- Active participation of at least 12 speakers and experts in digital transformation and innovation, including both external guests and Galeo Tech’s expert staff.
- Strategic alliances activated or reinforced with at least 5 local entities.
- Dissemination of the event on social media with an estimated reach of +25,000 impressions and +1,000 interactions.
- Production of the following post-event materials:
- Full recordings of the presentations and round tables.
- Speaker presentations.
- Thematic extracts in audiovisual format and executive summary of each day.
- Final dossier with conclusions, participation indicators and impact.
- Post-event survey and satisfaction analysis.
