Sales Engineer and Business Development

To continue growing, we are looking to bolster our team with Sales Engineer and Business Development with more than 5 years of experience in the digital technology sector and at least 3 years serving as sales managers for digital products and solutions.

What you will do on a daily basis
- Work with clear business objectives, including sales figures, invoicing targets, and operating margins. You must be independent in managing your goals and establishing action plans.
- Develop business for GALEO with new clients, identifying the right stakeholders and positioning GALEO’s capabilities to close project sales.
- Develop collaboration plans, identifying short-term projects while creating a long-term transformation vision.
- Manage client relationships to execute that vision, overseeing project execution and guaranteeing client satisfaction to expand the collaboration.
- Collaborate with the engineering and solutions team to understand client needs and prepare project proposals. Your mission is to ensure GALEO’s response meets client expectations.
- Prepare proposal documents, define scopes, outline project plans, and manage the entire commercial lifecycle.
- Work with the Project Manager during execution to track milestones and maintain satisfaction. Manage formal CRM processes and contracting.
Key Requirements
- Team player, passionate about technology, and able to convert it into business value.
- At least 5 years of experience in the digital technology sector and 3 years managing commercial relationships.
- Ability to listen more than talk: understand client needs and propose initiatives that solve business problems.
- Ability to translate client needs to the technical team and actively participate in defining the solution.
- Experience in Data & Analytics, IoT, Cloud, and AI is essential to communicate the value of our solutions.
- A background as an engineer, developer, or architect is highly valued.
- Experience in sectors like Energy, Industry, Infrastructure, or Engineering is a plus, as well as knowledge of OT (Operational Technology), BIM models, industrial protocols, PLM, or simulation.
- Experience with CRM or project management software (Holded, Runn.io, Monday, etc.).
