Sales Manager
We are looking for sales managers with more than 4 years of experience in the digital technologies sector, and at least 2 years as sales manager of digital products and solutions.
The projects we execute in Galeo are digital transformation projects involving technologies such as IoT, data platforms, advanced analytics models etc… generally based on cloud architectures and combined with AI capabilities that allow to exploit, build and operate them.
Galeo’s main clients are from sectors such as industry, energy companies, utilities, and in general companies that manage and operate infrastructures, equipment and buildings. But we also work with industrial equipment manufacturers, component and automotive manufacturers, as well as with companies and startups that provide digital services to their customers in the photovoltaic, hospitality and hotel sectors.

Roles and Responsibilities
These will be your main functions:
- Your main responsibility will be to turn opportunities into contracts, ideas into projects, needs and problems into opportunities for collaboration with clients.
- Your main collaborator will be the business development team, with whom you will work on plans and proposals for customers. Your role will also be to collaborate with the engineering team to ensure that the solution is appropriate and valuable to the customer’s expectations.
- You will be responsible for developing the proposal, scoping, defining project plans and pricing, and communicating with the customer.
- During project execution you will work with the Project Manager and the project team to follow up, meet milestones and manage customer satisfaction. You will also manage the formal process of CRM management, contracting process, invoicing etc….
- We also expect you to build relationships with the client’s managers, help us manage collaboration, identify new opportunities and projects.
Professional Competencies
Here is something important, what skills and experience are expected of you? Fundamentally, that you have a desire to work in a team, that you are passionate about technology, that you are orderly, responsible and have initiative. But, in addition:
- Experience of at least 4 years in the digital technologies sector, and at least 2 years managing commercial relationships with clients.
- At Galeo we sell our projects by listening more than talking. You must have the ability to understand the client’s needs, propose initiatives, ideas or concepts that can solve their business problems.
- You must be able to convey the client’s needs to the technical team, and actively participate in the definition of the solution, ensuring that it is appropriate and ambitious.
- During the elaboration and negotiation of the proposal you must manage the relationship of several actors both within Galeo, but especially with the client’s team.
- Our main clients are from sectors such as Energy, Industry, infrastructure management, engineering and digital services. Any specific expertise in these sectors will be appreciated.
- Our solutions are based on Digital technologies and therefore it is essential that you have experience and knowledge in Data & Analytics, IoT, Cloud, AI. It must be sufficient to be able to understand and communicate the value of our solutions to customers. You must be able to communicate what we propose to do, why and how we propose to do it.
- We expect you to have a minimum experience using some CRM or project management software such as Holded, Runn.io, Monday or others.
Modality and location

The work location for the proposed position is in Asturias, at the company’s offices in Oviedo.
We flexibly combine face-to-face and remote work, and leave it up to you to find the best combination for your case. But we believe that important things happen in the office, so we will ask you to adapt remote work so that you don’t miss them.
If you don’t live in Asturias, and working in Galeo may be an option to consider, we can help you.
▶ Other option
The company has offices in Madrid and Oviedo, however, much of the Galeo team works from other locations. So we do not rule out any candidate because of their location, as long as we can find a remote work model that meets the needs of the position. Occasional travel may be a solution.
