We are looking for versatile cloud engineers with strong knowledge of AWS and Terraform, but who we expect to be able to tackle any aspect of the life of a traditional systems engineer: monitoring, automation, deployments, application installation

Roles and responsibilities

These will be your main functions:

  • The urgent task: Deploy cloud infrastructure (mainly AWS) using Terraform.
  • Automate deployments, depending on the project: Azure DevOps, Jenkins, AWS Code Pipelines, Bitbucket Pipelines, GitHub Actions, etc.
  • Provide occasional assistance with software installation on IaaS.
  • Assist with network and communications configuration, taking security into account.

Professional competencies

We do not expect you to know everything; we value what is not written here, and what matters to us is your ability to absorb new knowledge:

  • At least 2 years’ experience as a Cloud Engineer.
  • Experience in public cloud, mainly AWS and Azure.
  • Essential: experience with Terraform.
  • Essential: CI/CD experience.
  • Desirable: experience with Kubernetes.
  • Desirable: experience with Jenkins.
  • Desirable: experience in cloud governance: tagging policy, cost control, definition of best practices.
  • Desirable: experience in log collection and infrastructure monitoring.
  • Essential: personality suited to working in a team and dealing directly with our customers. We work remotely, so communication with the rest of the world is essential for the formula to work.
  • The most important thing is that you have experience in different technologies and are motivated to continue learning about each technological ecosystem.

Requirement

We prioritize hiring in Asturias, although we will consider candidates from anywhere in Spain if their experience and worth justify it.
